Jappoe is operated by Babylon Optima B.V., a private company registered in the Netherlands. You can reach us at hello@jappoe.com.

Jappoe is a tooling layer for organising and coordinating trips: preference intake, programme planning, in-trip chat, and shared expense tracking. Jappoe is not a booking platform; we do not sell flights, accommodation, or activities. Any reservation you make through a third party is between you and that third party.

You need an account to use most of the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your sign-in method (magic link or password) confidential, and for the activity on your account. Tell us promptly at <email>hello@jappoe.com</email> if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree to use Jappoe lawfully and respectfully. Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or that exposes others' personal data without their consent. Do not scrape the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to send unsolicited marketing. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach this section.

During the pilot phase Jappoe is free to use. If paid plans are introduced later, separate pricing terms will apply and you will be notified at least thirty days in advance.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service is always uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every conceivable threat. We may schedule maintenance and will give notice when it is likely to affect you.

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, Babylon Optima B.V. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for loss of profit, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty euro if no payment was made. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these terms or where required by law, with notice where reasonable. On termination, your data is handled in line with our privacy notice.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Amsterdam, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via the app and via email at least thirty days before they take effect. The version label at the top of this page shows when the current text became effective.
